Work
I am in conversations about senior paid social and growth roles. This week: a rescheduled Paid Social meeting with Joey Kole on July 14, followed by a discovery call with Mike Berris on July 17.
Reading
Revisiting existentialist philosophy and theology, alongside narrative history and behavioral economics.
In New York
June was shaped by the World Cup: matches at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Flushing and the USA vs. Paraguay watch party at Nerina in Brooklyn. More recently, I went to Boiler Room, had martinis and oysters with Jake in the West Village, and went on a couple of Hinge dates.
Travel
I spent the Fourth of July weekend in Eldersburg, Maryland for a crab feast with Eleanor. I have also made quick trips to Philadelphia in June and July.
Small things
I am refining my nightly skincare routine, including azelaic acid for redness, and doing the usual city maintenance: alterations, a plant nursery visit, and time by the waterfront.
