Core match profile
A strong match will usually have most of these qualities:
- Sharp, warm humor. She can tease and be teased, handle irreverent or slightly dark jokes, make callbacks, and give as good as she gets.
- Direct communication. She says uncomfortable things plainly and can say “you’re being mean right now” without cruelty.
- Emotional strength with softness. She has boundaries without becoming cold and can be tender without collapsing.
- Attention to detail. She remembers specific moments, preferences, sounds, routines, and phrases. Generic attentiveness is not enough.

The actual partner rule
